Over the years, Scotland has welcomed an increased number of these students, business people and immigrants.

The Algerian community in Scotland presently contributes to all areas of society including Academia, Architecture, Engineering, Healthcare, IT consultancy and the service industry (catering, hairdressing, motoring schools, plumbing and retailing) to name only a few.
